Executive Team
Born and raised in Iowa, Mark Schryver was no stranger to hard work, dedication, motivation and results. He worked the family business with his father and two brothers for years until his allergies posed a serious health risk. Mark made the tough decision to move to Colorado with his wife, Denise and began working as a sales representative for MedLine. Mark’s hard work and passion for his work paid off as he continued to grow his sales and was promoted into many managerial positions, leaving as Vice President of National Accounts. In 1993 Mark founded Schryver Medical, Inc. Mark’s passion for his work, dedication to those he provided services, business integrity and service excellence motivation have produced results that have allowed Mark’s company to grow by twenty-percent year after year. When you ask Mark what it takes to grow a business, he simply states, “We raise the bar in all that we do.”
Jay Schryver, MBA, President
Jay Schryver graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s in Communications in 2002 and his Masters in Business Administration in 2010. Jay began working for Schryver Medical. In 2005 Jay began working for Schryver as the Branch Operations Manager and opened the Arizona branch. In 2010 Jay was promoted to Executive Vice President. January 1, 2011 Jay was promoted to President of Schryver Medical.
Chris Cunningham, Executive Vice President, Operations
Chris Cunningham graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s in Communications in 2001. After graduation he moved to Park City, Utah where he started an administrator in training program. In 2002 Chris earned his Nursing Home Administrators license and became the administrator of Granite Hills Nursing Home. In 2004 Chris joined Schryver Medical as the Utah Branch Manager. He was excited about the opportunity to combine his knowledge of the needs of nursing homes with the great services that Schryver Medical provides. In 2006 Chris was transferred to Phoenix where he continued to run the Utah branch and became the manager of the Arizona branch. In 2008 Chris was promoted to Vice President of Branch Operations and moved to the corporate office in Denver. In 2009 Chris became the Vice President of Operations. Chris now oversees all operations related to imaging and laboratory services in each of our Markets.
Summer Kelley, Executive Vice President, Finance & Accounting
Summer Kelley graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Business with majors in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Washington in 2001. She has passed her CPA exams and is working towards obtaining her CPA license.
After graduation she moved to Denver, Colorado where she began working for Schryver Medical as a staff accountant in July 2001. In 2002, she was promoted to Accounting Manager, in 2005 promoted to Controller, and in 2010 promoted to Executive Vice President of Finance.
Arno Bergstrom, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing
In the fall of 2004 Jay Schryver recruited Arno to the Schryver Medical team as a Sales Representative. Arno came to Schryver Medical with an extensive background in Sales Management, Small Business ownership experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After college Arno worked for the E&J Gallo Winery in their Management Development Program showing yet again that when tasked with a challenge it will be inevitable success. Once a member of the Schryver Team Arno was asked to open the Seattle branch which is where Arno began to quickly prove his ability to sell and grow a market. With dedication and passion for our elders it was clear that Arno’s leadership and charisma was infectious making the Northwest the fastest growing branch approaching record numbers and potential. Before long he had major market presents and was named Regional Vice President overseeing Washington and Oregon. In the Spring of 2010 Arno was named Executive Vice President of Sales for Schryver Medical.
Johan Hybinette, CISM, ISSMP, CISSP, ISSAP, CEH, ISI, NSA-IEM, NSA-IAM
CTO/CISO

Mr. Hybinette has more than 25 years experience with information technology and executive management. He has been providing contract CIO/CISO/Technology services to corporations including Warner Brothers, Wal-Mart, Disney, DOE, and many others . Possessing an unique perspective serving in executive positions for both small and large corporations, Mr. Hybinette has the ability to manage and improve successful infrastructures for any size company.
With a deep technical knowledge complementing his management skills Mr. Hybinette have extensive experience with compliance, engineering, and information security.
In addition, Mr. Hybinette enjoys public speaking. He has been a featured speaker in many national events such as Defcon and in the financial services industry. Johan spends his free time teaching information security classes at Arapahoe Community College in Denver and coaching CANVAS security assessment teams to compete.
Dave Paison, Vice President, National Accounts
Dave has been with Mark and Denise from the beginning of Schryver Medical and has always worked on the Sales and Marketing side of the business. Dave participated in many of the expansions; most notably Seattle and Phoenix. He plays an active role and participates in the state health care associations to ensure he maintains his knowledge to benefit the growth and expansion of Schryver. Dave is currently the Vice Chairman of the Business Associates Membership committee at the Colorado Health Care Association (CHCA).
Dave works closely with the ongoing development and training of our current sales team. He is involved with the roll-out of our new Lab Outreach and Laboratory Information System (LIS) and will be working with the Sales Staff and our customers, training them on using this new and exciting software product. This product truly “Raises the Bar” and will put Schryver Medical ahead of our competitors in providing efficient, effective solutions to the obstacles facing many of our customers in this heavily regulated industry.
Jennifer Holt, Compliance and Privacy Officer, CHC, CPC
Since joining Schryver Medical in 1997, Jennifer has been employed in a variety of operational and business positions. Before moving to her present role, she was the Director of Billing responsible for the coordination and operations of the billing department. In February 2010 Jennifer was promoted to Compliance and Privacy Officer because of her extensive knowledge and considerable experience of medical billing. She currently holds professional certifications in Medical Coding from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and Healthcare Compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Jennifer is currently extending her professional development by studying for an additional certification in Healthcare Privacy from the HCCA.
