Schryver Medical to Provide Diagnostic Imaging Services to Florida DOC Inmates

As part of its comprehensive healthcare services offering to state inmates, Centurion has partnered with Schryver Medical, LLC, to provide diagnostic imaging (x-ray, CAT scan, MRI, ultrasound, and mammography services) to inmates covered by the contract at over fifty locations in Regions 1, 2, and 3.  Schryver currently provides diagnostic services for Centurion patients in its Tennessee and Mississippi corrections contracts.

"Our extensive and many years of experience serving the corrections populations with high quality imaging services has prepared us well to assist Centurion in its critical responsibilities in Florida.  We are very pleased to expand Schryver’s imaging services to Centurion's new relationship with the state of Florida.  We view this as another opportunity to bring our unique talents to the communities we serve,” said Greg Ward, a spokesman for Schryver Medical.

Ward added that “to better ensure continuity of inmate patient care, Schryver Medical intends to retain as many qualified current employees of the former imaging contractor as possible.”

Schryver Medical, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with services in eighteen states, is a JCAHO accredited provider of mobile imaging diagnostics, clinical laboratory services, oxygen therapy and durable medical equipment rental.  Schryver serves nearly 3,000 post-acute care facilities, as well as thousands of inmates in Departments of Corrections in Tennessee, Mississippi, Washington State, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and numerous county jail facilities.  In operation for over 25 years, Schryver is one of the largest mobile imaging and laboratory diagnostics providers in the US.
